Introduction to Herbalism is for absolute beginners. This class will help students to begin building familiarity with herbal classification, herbal actions, and my most frequently used plants. In addition, we will have some hands-on experiences in properly making infusions, extracts and salves. If you are looking to begin collecting and processing herbs to stock your home medicine cabinet, this is the place to begin! Herbalism I culminates in an optional 4th session date during which students have the option to do a group bulk buy of herbs to take home and process for their family’s use.

3 Sessions: April 24, May 8, May 29 (all Friday mornings from 9:30am-11:30am. Please make sure you can commit to all three class sessions before registering.

This class is a prerequisite for taking other paid classes. 6 hours over 3 sessions.
